Mission:
The overall objective of LTCA is to focus on issues that affect all who enjoy or have the potential to enjoy Lake Talon and it's immediate environment. LTCA, by dealing with lake-wide issues, will complement and go beyond those specific localized needs that will always have to be the responsibility of regional groups and associations in different areas of the lake. LTCA activities centre on Environmental Impact Issues and Membership Services specifically outlined in our common goals.
Reasons To Participate:
- The recognized way of ensuring that lake-wide issues affecting all of us are dealt with effectively.
- An opportunity to get involved in your area of interest.
- If we all contribute a little, it adds up to a lot getting done.
Recent / Ongoing Projects & Accomplishments:
- Improvements to the fish habitat such as fish surveys, spawning bed maintenance and creel census.
- Recognition from and input with various government levels.
- MNR contract for public area maintenance on the lake.
